The History of Homecrafters
Homecrafters was founded by John Adams and Paul Primeau in 2000. They were both passionate about saving the historic character of Hinsdale and the surrounding communities. Over the years they both participated in many historic renovations and new custom homes throughout the Western Suburbs. One of their largest contributions to the Hinsdale Historic Society was their involvement in coordinating and moving the Zook Home and Studio to Katherine Legge Memorial Park.

Catie joined Homecrafters in 2014 after working on various commercial projects on Chicago’s Historic Magnificent Mile. Her work and focus in Chicago was helping to recreate and preserve a variety of historic architectural details. She holds a Bachelor in Interior Design and a Master of Architecture. Catie enjoys the personal and creative aspects of residential design and construction. The functions of a family home are especially important in helping modern families shape their daily lives. The most rewarding part of residential design is clients enjoying and inhabiting their new or revitalized homes.
Hugo Esquivel

Hugo formally joined the Homecrafters Team in 2020 after working as a trim carpentry for over 20 years.
Kelvin Enriquez
Kelvin joined the Homecrafters Team earlier this year in February 2023, and he’s excited to assist in crafting your dream home.
