For over 25 years he served in management positions at Herman Miller Inc., an international leader in modern furniture design for office, health care, and residential environments. He has worked both domestically and abroad with large multi-national corporations assisting them in solving facility planning and management problems. He and Paul founded HomeCrafters in 2000 to get directly involved in building environments at a more personal, intimate, and artistic level.
Catie Knoebel joined HomeCrafters in 2014 after working on various commercial projects on Chicago’s Historic Magnificent Mile. Her work and focus in Chicago was helping to recreate and preserve a variety of historic architectural details. She holds a Bachelor in Interior Design and a Master of Architecture. Catie enjoys the personal and creative aspects of residential design and construction. The functions of a family home are especially important in helping modern families shape their daily lives. The most rewarding part of residential design is clients enjoying and inhabiting their new or revitalized homes.
